The Accra West District Football Champions of Champions competition kicked off in a fashionable way, between Trust FC U13 and Dansoman Happy Stars U13 at the Stephen Appiah Astro Turf Mamprobi Girls School Park. Happy stars took the match to their opponent from the start of the game and got an early goal through a stunner from Linsford Boateng in the 2 minutes of the game.
Trust FC raised their game after conceding an early goal and was awarded a free kick in the half of their opponent which was beautifully placed into the net by their captain Abdul karim maigah in the 14th minutes of the game. Just 3minutes after the equalizer by Trust FC, Happy stars were also awarded a free kick in the half of Trust FC which was beautifully converted into the net by Denzel Gyan, it became a ding dong affair in the midfield when Denzel Gyan gave a long pass to Philemon Danso who easily taps the ball into the net and scoring the second goal for Trust fc. The first half ended in a 2:2 draw.
Happy stars not relenting began the second half with possessing of more of the balls until in the 38minutes Linsford Boaten got his second goal of the match putting Happing stars in the lead. Trust FC fought very hard until they got an equalizer through a free kick which was beautifully converted into the net by Abdul Karim Maigah being his second free kick goal of the match. Both teams were on top of their game with beautiful football on display, until in the 56minutes Denzel Gyan placed the ball at the blind side of the goal keeper David Bentum upon one of their attack putting Happy Stars in the lead. At exactly 11:41am referee Blessing Gyan brought the match to end.
